Are you a quick learner and/or experienced administrator with a desire for a varied role in the lead training business servicing the seafood sector?
This is an office-based role for a small organisation operating from its office in Newlyn which works in close partnership with other seafood businesses across Cornwall.
This is a truly varied role which can vary day by day, from organising training courses and facilitating events and workshops in fishing harbours in Cornwall, to the administrative tasks involved in running a busy office. You will need excellent communication skills as our training attracts people of all ages, stages and backgrounds and our events involve working with a range of partner organisations to support all aspects of the industry including training, health and safety and business development.
SCT has a small team who rely on each other to achieve their various projects and events. You will need to be a pro-active member of this team, providing the administrative centre and excelling at your own projects, often working on your own and using your initiative.
You will need the following skills:
*Excellent IT and software skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Outlook)
*Excellent people skills and great communication
*Access to transport when necessary
