DESCRIPTION:\n\nThis course is a dual course run over one day but composing of two different courses.\nPersonal Safety and Social Responsibilities course forms part of the STCW 95 mandatory basic safety training for all seafarers.\n\n\n\n\n\nBackground knowledge\nShipboard organisation/general shipboard terms\nEmergency procedures\nObserve safe working practices\nUnderstand and take necessary actions to control fatigue\nPollution prevention\nShipboard duties and responsibilities\nSocial responsibility\n\n\n\nProficiency in Security Awareness aims to provide new entrants to the maritime industry with the knowledge and understanding they require on the security of ships and port facilities.\nThe course content is developed in line with the criteria developed by Merchant Navy Training Board (MNTB) and approval by the Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA).\nTraining is developed to meet the requirement of the international convention on standards of Training Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW).\n£210\n
