David is a state registered paramedic working for the St John’s Ambulance in Cornwall following 27 years work for the South Western Ambulance Service. David’s professional first aid skills are backed up with practical experience gained during his involvement with the Coastguard Agency in Devon, the RAF helicopter rescue service and the RNLI on various practice and rescue scenarios.
David has been delivering training courses since 1980. His experience and working knowledge of First Aid gives him plenty of relevant material to bring to the courses, helping to keep the sessions alive and interesting.
In addition to delivering our Seafish Basic First Aid course, David delivers St John Risk Assessment and Health and Safety courses. He is a qualified Paramedic, holds a City and Guilds 7303 and is currently studying C&G 7304.
